OUR STUNNING LOCATION by the river thames just outside Henley

Embers Camping are delighted to offer our new Pop Up camping site on the stunning River Thames, just a short stroll from Temple Island and the glorious town of Henley on Thames.

From the comfort of your tent, sit back by your own fire basket and watch life go by on the River Thames. Set in a large field, with plenty of space to relax and enjoy this stunning location within walking distance to festivals in Henley during the Summer.

Separate tickets are required for festivals.

For our new Henley POP UP you can either bring your own tent, or hire one of our pre-erected 5m Bell Tents. Each Bell Tent comfortably sleeps 5, so perfect for a family or group of friends.
 

Henley Prices: 

£20 per adult, per night. £8.50 per children, per night. £70 per Bell Tent, per night.

1 night bookings run Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday only. Our weekends start Friday and run to 11am on Sunday. Weekend booking are a minimum of 2 night stay. Apart from August Bank Holiday which is a 3 night minimum.

 
Whether you decide to explore the walks, river or surrounding area, our local on site staff can advise you on the best of what Henley has to offer.  There is even a water taxi should you require to travel up the river in style. But you'll need to pre book this service.
 
We have provided 3 brand new showers shacks, 2 compost WC and 2 urinals which will be perfect for our new pop up site. These have been set up with minimal effect to the local environment yet still providing hot water and washing up areas.
 

Parking and Location

As the campsite is found within the unspoilt Henley Estate, car can only entrer the campsite after 2pm for setting up camp. Drive up to your pitch, offload your gear and repark in the allocated area alongsite the campsite. Check out is 11am on the day of your departure.

Our campsite is located by the river Thames within walking distance of Henley-on-Thames, giving you the perfect rural retreat for your holiday.

Directions

On arriving into Henley-on-Thames take the Marlow road A4155 going in a northerly direction from the main town towards the Henley Business School.  Enter through the metal gates (the same entrance as the Business School) and take an immediate right and follow the signs to the check in desk. The camping field is located alongside the river, about 1.5 miles from the centre of town. Look out for our Embers Camping Banners.

This Summer see's a new family friendly exhibition 'Pirates, Pants and Wellyphants - The illustrated world of Nick Sharratt. Which we're sure the children will love. 

Opened by the Queen in 1998 is a independent charity which this year celebrate it's 20th birthday.

Located a short distace away from our riverside site, in the centre of Henley on Thames is the River & Rowing Museum. Holding 20,000 items covering the international sport of rowing, the history or Henley on Thames and everything you could possiable wish to know about the River Thames. The Wild in the Willow's attaction is popular with families with a stunning walk-through set and models on display.

This Summer see's a new family friendly exhibition "Pirates, Pants and Wellyphants" The illustrated world of Nick Sharratt. We have no doubt you're children will love this exhibition.

HOME COMFORTS

We want you to enjoy your stay at Embers just as nature intended. But that doesn’t mean going without clean facilities. Our new shower shacks and compost WC shacks will provide all the home comforts you will need whilst camping. All of our bathrooms are clean and all of our showers are piping hot! A real comfort when you are camping, leaving you refreshed and ready to take on the day ahead!

We'll also have basic washing up faclilties for your camping equipment.
